Hello there, sorry I haven't posted for a while I have been super busy organising the PL kit for LPS. It looks great and I can't wait to use it.
Today I'm sharing a layout I made for the first challenge this month over at Scrap Our Stash. We are challenging you to use up those summer collections and to add in 5 die cut pieces from you stash.
I found this photo of me forever ago of the first time I went to Bali and I just had to scrap it. I have been to Bali almost every year since my first visit because I really love the people and the culture.
I wanted to repeat the flower in my hair in some sort of motif, I dug into my stash and found a Dear Lizzy chipboard flower but it was pink which just did not work, so I decided to alter it. I took my Versamark pen and coloured the parts I wanted to emboss then added yellow embossing powder so it was a match to the one in the photo.
The rest of the die cuts are frames from The Pier collection (I have used all but one now so you will only have to see them once more LOL). I had a cut apart sheet of Cocoa Daisy exclusive paper which has these cool little flip flops and sunglasses so I cut the piece up and put behind the frames.
I loved the little "You've got me..." sticker from the Simple Stories I {heart} Summer collection and thought it was perfect for this page and my journalling.
Another thing I love about this page is the Skipping5 geotag puffy sticker I put above the title, they are so cute. (You can currently get 15% off at the Skipping5 Shop when you use the code LPS15)
So get digging into that stash and come and play along. There is a great prize, all you have to do is head over to the Scrap Our Stash blog and link your creation up.
Thanks for stopping by.
