CAS Colours & Sketches | Challenge #388 - Colours

Hello,

Today I am sharing a card I have made for CAS Colours and Sketches Challenge #388

This week it is a colour challenge:

I was a bit unsure of how to use this colour combo but it has a very autumn feel so I decided to use the stitched leaf dies.

Here is how I made the card (full list of supplies below - sequins are from my own stash).

  • I started with a white card base and very carefully flicked cinnamon cider ink using a slightly wet paint brush (not too wet, or it will go in huge splodges!).
  • Next I stamped the leaf stamp from Beautful Autumn on a piece of white card cut to 2 inches wide in versa mark and heat embossed with white embossing powder.
  • I blended the inks over the top of the embossing and adhered to card front
  • The leaves are cut using the stitched leaves dies, the large in crumb cake, the smallest in cinnamon and the medium in gold
  • I tied a piece of the gold twin in a bow and then layered the leave on top.
  • I stamped the sentiment last and added sequins.

Thank you so much for stopping by!
