A long, long break!

Welcome back! It has been a looooooong time between posts, 5 years!!!! I'm back with a shiny new blog to share my crafty creations.

I stopped crafting for a while, because life got in the way but when lockdown came I decided to organise my cupboards and have a big clean out which is where I found my beloved craft supplies waiting patiently to be used. So I could either get rid of them or use them, so I did the sensible thing and kept them!

I have got right back into card making with this little set of Thank You cards.

For this one I used a retired set of Stampin Up dies (Bouquet Bunch) to cut out the leaves. The background was made using blended inks.

I wanted to give the card dimension so in addition to using foam tape to pop up the card, I put some of the leaves poking out from the frame.

I had cut some extra leaves incase I messed up, so I had extras left over as well as the circle pieces I had cut out to make the frame so I decided to use them to make a simpler card with the left overs.
