#makecardsnothate

Happy Thursday!

Yesterday I was checking out a video on Instagram and I discovered that an awesome crafter by the name Bromerocards has created the wonderful hashtage of #makecardsnothate and I just thought that it was such a wonderful idea. With everything that is happening in the world right now we need to spread love and happiness and I think that is what crafting is all about too. I was so inspired by the beautiful cards people were making that I had to make something too.

For this card I used the new Playful Alphabet Die Set and I love the size of these letters perfect for cards and scrapbook

I started by cutting out the front panel, this took a bit of care because I needed to line up the letters perfectly and managed to get them all messed up twice before I got it right, but that's OK because now I have some extra loves to use on other projects.

While I had my dies out, I also cut out the letters for "you are" out of the rainbow cardstock which I then stuck to the loved panel.

Once that was done I cut out strips of colour at 5/8th of an inch and adhered together by placing a strip on double sided tape on them. I then cut them to the size of the card and adhered them down.

Finally I added my front panel with foam adhesive strips

I just love how it turned out and might make a few more to send to some special people I know.

Thanks for stopping by, hope you are having a great week!
