Global Design Project #257 | Colour Challenge

Hello!

Today I am playing along with the Global Design Project colour challenge. Here are the colours:

For this card I started with my Woodgrain background stamp and used my sponge daubers to apply the ink. I wanted to have a bit of a frame around my stamped image so I used a piece of scrap paper to make a template.

Once that was finished I mounted my card on some misty moonlight cardstock. I used the sponge daubers again to colour the Joy stamp and then cut it out with the matching dies.

I was originally just going to have the stars in the background but it looked a little bare so I took the branch die from the Poinsettia die set and cut them out of the glimmer card stock just to add a little sparkle. (Please see below for a full list of supplies used).

I love how these colours worked for a Christmas palette.

If you would like to play along with the Global Design Project you can get all the details HERE.

Thanks so much for stopping by,
