TGIF Challenges | #TGIFC282 Inspiration Challenge

Happy Sunday!

Today I am sharing a card I made for TGIF Challenges. This week it is an inspiration challenge, using this image:

The image reminded me of a stamp I had seen recently which I loved and wanted to recreate using my own Stampin Up supplies.

A full list of supplies I used to make this card is below, the circle dies and sequins are from my own stash.

How I made the card:
  • Cut a piece of Whisper White card down to make the front panel, I made mile 1/2" smaller than my card base (card base is Blushing Bride in A6 size - half A4 card folded)
  • Emboss white card stock with Diamond embossing folder and adhere to card base
  • Stamp roses from All things fabulous stamp set - this is a layered stamp set. I stamped two larger flowers in So Saffron and Blushing Bride, then the smaller rose was 2nd generation stamping for all three layers in Flirty Flamingo. The smallest flower was second generation stamping in saffron. I then stamped a 3 leaf stem in Pear Pizzaz and then 2 leaf stems - one in pear and two in Soft Seafoam.
  • Die cut out the flowers and leaves plus use the brushed metallic to cut two sets of leaves.
  • For the gold circle I used circle dies from my own stash, I ran two through together to make a hoop of brushed metallic card.
  • Adhere the loop to the card using multi purpose glue, this glue has a small tip so it is easy to apply on fine areas.
  • Stamp the sentiment on a piece of white card stock, use the banner punch to cut the end, layer on a piece of blushing bride (which has also been cut with banner punch)
  • Adhere the leaves and flowers. I placed the two larger flowers on dimensionals and then adhered the rose on top, added my sentiment and then I tucked in the smaller flower and leaves around to make the arrangement.
  • I finished off with sequins from my own stash.
