Global Design Project #301 | Colour Challenge

Happy Saturday! Today I am sharing a card I made for Global Design Project #301 Colour Challenge

The colour palette is Night of Navy, Coastal Cabana and Polished Pink which is so pretty.
For this card I used the Hand Penned Petals Bundle which I have just got my hands on and I am in LOVE!

I didn't want the lines of the outline to be too harsh so I used Gray Granite to give it a softer tone and then with the colouring for the petals and leaves I used second generation stamping.

For the background I used the blending brushes to add Night of Navy ink and then added the ink splatter stamp from Forever Fern. To add some interest I added some ribbon and embossed the banner I cut from Coastal Cabana. I have linked a full list of the products used below.

I am really happy with how this card came out and think I might make some more in this layout style.

Global Design Project #298 | Sketch Challenge

Hello! Today I am sharing a card made using the sketch from Global Design Project #298

This is the sketch:
I decided to break out an old favourite for this one, Forever Fern, I was really happy to see that it was kept on in the current catalogue because it really is a classic. For the stamping I used Blushing Bride and then added Polished Pink onto the edges using a sponge dauber.

The paper on this one is Expressions in Ink DSP which has been super popular (it is currently on backorder but should be back soon). I have also tried to use up some bits and pieces that were on my desk like a tag I had cut from the Bloom dies and Pansy Patch Sentiment. with the gold accents and twin which are from the old Forever Fern Suite but I have linked substitutes at the bottom of the material list below.

If you want to play along with the Global Design Project, they post a new challenge every Monday (Australian Time).

Thanks so much for stopping by!

TGIF Challenges | Colour Challenge #TGIFC323

Hello again! It has been a very long time between cards (about 5 months). I had a lot going on with work and kind of lost my creativity but now I am back baby!

As you now I love a good challenge so today I am playing along with TGIF Challenges #323 which is a colour challenge which is using two of the new In-Colours.

I wasn't really sure about this combination at first because I am not a fan of pink and green together but I ended up mixing the pink and freesia on the stamps by using a sponge dauber to apply the ink.

I wanted to add a little something to make it pop so I used a strip of gold striped paper from the new Expressions in Ink DSP and I think the gold foil is a nice touch. You can see a full list of materials I have used linked below.

I am very happy with how this card turned out considering my hesitation over the colours.

The 2021-2022 annual catalogue is out now and you can see all the goodies HERE sorry I have been a bit late to the party on sharing that one,

Thank you so much for stopping by!
