CAS(E) This Sketch | Challenge #390

 Welcome back to my blog!

Today I am sharing a card I made for CAS(E) This Sketch Challenge #390. Here is the sketch:

When I saw the sketch I decided that it would be ideal for a Christmas card using my Poinsettia Place stamp set.

I have included a full list of supplies I used at the end of the post. (Glitter paper is from my own stash).

I wanted to create some bulk to my bouquet so in addition to using the leaf and berries from the poinsettia dies I also used the leaf die from Forever flourishing dies.

The poinsettia was stamped in Real Red and then I used the Poppy colour marker to create some contrast, then die cutting it out I decided to fussy cut it to remove any white outline. When I layered the petals together I bent them slightly to give dimension.

Once I had the card all put together I couldn't fit the sentiment where it was in the sketch without covering up the lovely flocked vellum so I moved it up higher to balance out the card.

I am so happy with how this card came out, it may be one of my favourites I have ever made!

Thanks so much for stopping by, hope you have a beautiful day!
