Hello,
Today I am sharing a card I have made for CAS Colours and Sketches Challenge #388.
This week it is a colour challenge:
Here is how I made the card (full list of supplies below - sequins are from my own stash).
- I started with a white card base and very carefully flicked cinnamon cider ink using a slightly wet paint brush (not too wet, or it will go in huge splodges!).
- Next I stamped the leaf stamp from Beautful Autumn on a piece of white card cut to 2 inches wide in versa mark and heat embossed with white embossing powder.
- I blended the inks over the top of the embossing and adhered to card front
- The leaves are cut using the stitched leaves dies, the large in crumb cake, the smallest in cinnamon and the medium in gold
- I tied a piece of the gold twin in a bow and then layered the leave on top.
- I stamped the sentiment last and added sequins.
Thank you so much for stopping by!
I really like your emboss resist panel - the inks are blended perfectly! You've done an excellent job showcasing our CC&S challenge colors. Thanks so much for sharing your card with us! I hope you'll join us again soon for another challenge.
ReplyDeleteI really love this card. The background ink-blending and the leaves die cuttings are get along with well. So beautiful!! Thank you for playing along with CC&S challenge!
