Stamped Patterned Paper

Happy Monday!

Today I am sharing a card I made for the TGIF Challenge #269.

This week's challenge was to create a stamped background. I used the Pattern Play set for the background with Magenta Madness and Bumblebee ink.

I used the Stamparatus to line up my card and then went to work. I was a little bit naughty because after stamping the magenta I didn't wipe off the stamp and then re-inked in the yellow - you really shouldn't do this because it's not great for your ink pads but I liked the orange it made.

I stamped the sentiment from Today's Tiles set onto a piece of card I cut using the stitched rectangle dies. The flowers were stamped with the small flower from Lovely You and then fussy cut them out.

I put both the patterned back ground and the sentiment onto the card using foam tape to give the card. some dimension.

I really enjoyed making my own background paper, its not a technique I usually do but think I will have a look at my other stamps and make a few more,

Please see below for a full supply list of items I used to make this card.

Thanks so much for stopping by, I will be back tomorrow with another card.
